A nice quiet morning drive on Volgogradsky Prospekt

Driving a ring road while listening to peaceful Russian Orthodox chants...

Love the motorcycle that goes zipping by between cars in the second clip. Wow, driving in Moscow is pretty mundane. I would have thought there would be more Stau.

Well, Russia has changed quite a bit. But then again, Moscow was always a country within a country.

I grew up in Volgograd, a city of only about 1 million. Been to Moscow once, and was going around the city in awe, wide-eyed. I'm sure in 5 years it's going to be even more different.

Thanks for the videos, Charles.

Anybody notice how the driving during the Orthodox chanting was much safer, far more civilized, and courteous?
Hmmm. Could it be that music does indeed inspire and temper our impulses and behaviors?
